6.1 Expressions of power

6.1 Expressions of power

This can also be classified in three kinds of expressions:

• a) faith (wonderworking);
• b) gifts of healings;
• c) workings of power.

The special thing about these expressions of the Holy Spirit is, that they are a manifestation of God’s power.
Of course you are not a ‘prize-fighter (boxer), who is boxing by beating his fists in the air’  and God will also inspire you in this and reveal to you the necessary you should know, to be able to apply these expressions of power correctly and effectively!
These expressions are given to us to let us share in God’s power. This power is given to us immediately and at the moment itself by the Holy Spirit.
Also concerning these expressions we don’t find any instructions in the Bible.

One of the strongest opposing powers in our life is undoubtedly (…) the one of doubt and unbelief. By the undermining working of doubt we have lost a great part of the abundance of spiritual life, which was revealed in Jesus and indeed to us , by the Holy Spirit.
We have all kinds of supposed truths (for example that which has been handed over to us by the ‘fathers’), out of our thinking misled by satan to be prevailed or allowed to exceed above God’s truth.
Our thoughts have been fed by all kinds of wrong knowledge… and in that process became malnourished concerning the knowledge of and about God.
Our thoughts are misled by wrong ideas about who God is and about what his Plan is whit us, humans. A lot of humbug attacked us by various religious mistakes and philosophies.
An abundance of examples is to be named of this.

Satan’s biggest lie is, that God is ‘divided’, that good and also evil are coming from Him. To continue, practically the whole Christianity , just like all other paganisms and religions, are of the opinion that people have to please God with something, to put Him in a  favourable mood concerning them in that way. And the ‘religious spirits’, that are inspiring them to do this  never say: it is enough!
Proverbs 30:15: - “The leech has two daughters. ‘Give! Give!’ they cry. There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, ‘Enough!’: the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, ‘Enough’.”
This is a distinct contradiction with the character of our God, who has even given his very own Son for us … and after that also on top of that poured out his Spirit in us … and wants us to develop as His sons …! He always gives and only asks us, that we love our fellow man like ourselves and God above all! Nothing more and nothing less!

God also gives power, by his Holy Spirit, who lives in us. Power to process recovery in our sick and bound fellow man. And when we love our fellow man  like we love ourselves, we also have an intense desire to heal him and to set him free!
Jesus says: “In my Name the believers shall …”.

Therefore strive also after this expression of the Spirit!
