4.24 How do I really know now, that I am allowed to prophecy?
A number of short advices can be sufficient, after we have discussed these expressions of inspiration.
Let your heart always be focused on the construction of the Church, with God’s love as encouragement and motivation with that, which is poured out in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5 – “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
1. So let God’s love always have central position in your life and effort in and for the Church;
2. Intensely (but in a relaxing way) long for the result of the expressions of the Spirit. Strive after it;
3. Be alert on the initiative for inspiration from God. When the Lord insists, follow his directions, open your mouth with boldness an begin to speak;
4. When the Lord gives you a revelation to you, pronounce it and share it in this way;
5. Listen to the voice of the Lord in your heart; ask and expect a signal from the Lord to take the initiative yourself.
