4.19 What is prophesy?
It is not: the speaking of or through a foretelling spirit, a case of knowing things beforehand or perspicuous ness, / clairvoyance;
It is not: the bringing/sharing (..?)of the Gospel. This is a result of considering the Word, a case of the normal mind of a person, who has searched/ examined the Scriptures (the Bible) (thoroughly) to share the words of the Lord (in a speech or sermon) with the Church.
It is indeed: a spiritual expression of the Holy Spirit, where He uses my speaking organs for the ‘immediate’ (there and at that moment) ability to express/say (..?) what He wants to say.
It is indeed: an inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that works as with speaking spiritual languages -
You will understand, that here, especially because it is a case of using the own language, more boldness in faith is necessary for you to give in to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
You don’t know in advance what the words will be. The Holy Spirit ‘reveals them on your lips’. It is again the accomplishment of a miracle of the Spirit. Paul therefore speaks in Romans 12:6 of: “If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.”
The prophets have to consider the restrictions of their ministry. That restriction is being determined by the ‘measure of their faith’. They are therefore not allowed to share more than that of which they are convinced, that it is revealed to them by the Spirit.
