4.16 Difference in length between what is being spoken in spiritual languages and explanation of it
Yes, that immediately alerts people. Some become a little suspicious because of this.
Some reject the ‘truth’ of this expression of the Spirit for this reason.
But with some insight in the expressions and with some openness of heart, the problem doesn’t really stay in existence.
There are two possibilities:
1. interpretation is not equal to translation.
As said before, a literal translation of a text is different from describing the contents of the headlines. The last is an interpretation.
With the report of the global content the interpreter is allowed to use more or less words compared to the given message in spiritual languages. The Holy Spirit is of course also free in this.
2. the spiritual languages that are used form an opening personal prayer,
after which a prophetic expression is being given.
The person that knows he is urged by the Lord for inspiration, first prays in spiritual languages for some moments.
In this way he looks for communication with the Lord to tune in with Him. After that he speaks out a prophesy, under inspiration.
It would be considerable in this situation, to speak spiritual languages quietly in himself, instead of out loud. However, it doesn’t make any difference concerning the reality and truth of the interpretation (or: prophesy)!
By the way, the things of the Spirit can only be judged by a spiritual person.
