2.1 Dynamic power

The Holy Spirit

2.1 Dynamic power

This dynamic [6] power is  promised by God for the period of the (salvation)history in which God’s Plan will be completed.
In Joel 2:28 we read the following: “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
And when you are interested in this, you can read more about this subject in this chapter in the Bible.
Hebrew 2:4 also refers to this: “God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, an gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.”
There are many more Bible verses about this subject.

We will see how God completes the fulfilment of all He promised and how he wants this multi-purpose and deep manifestation of the Spirit to become the most substantial part of our life.
The Bible is full of God’s promises.
God is an abundant God. His love is overwhelming! Paul says that he longs for the time that we will see “… his incomparably great power ( = the Holy Spirit) for us who believe.”(Ephesians 1:19).
We (might) hardly have any idea of it! God has given us precious and rich promises indeed (2 Peter 1:4).
It is being said that there are thousands of promises in the Bible! Magnificent! Please, do write this down: “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
In Him, this means: through his body here on earth and in the spiritual world, the Church. We can say ‘amen’, because all God’s promises find their completion in and through the Church, which exists out of sons of God.

In this chapter we want to emphasize one of those promises – a very special promise: the promise of the Holy Spirit.
It is God’s desire that we ‘get to work’ with this , in order for the spiritual output from our lives here on earth to be as high as possible. This is important concerning eternal life with God, of ourselves and of our nearest!

6. This is a working active power where results can be made with in the spiritual world, for example healing and deliverance. “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes over you.”
