10.2 Demonic bridge heads
When we started to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we dedicated our lives to Him. We started to focus ourselves on Him in all our thoughts, feelings, words and actions.
We have accepted Him as our Redeemer (Lord) and Pastor (Leader) and Finisher (Accomplisher) of our faith (see amongst other verses 2 Peter 2:20 and Hebrews 12:2).
In the period in advance of the time we turned on the path of completion, the process of becoming full of our faith, many of us might have had contact with the kingdom of the darkness consciously, or unconsciously. This happened in some form of occultism (magnetism, hypnoses, foretelling, bindings from the ancestors, the participation of heathen religions, witchcraft, satanism, etc).
Not everyone of us has, before he chose to start a life with the Lord, experienced the liberating power of the Lord in breaking those bindings of the kingdom of the darkness.
Not everyone is delivered from the demons, that he has accepted in his life or had to accept consciously or unconsciously, willingly or unwillingly.
Such a pity!
What a misery we could have been saved from if we would have been delivered ‘in time’ by the power of the Holy Spirit. The darkness blocks us to proceed on the way with God, the way of the light!
Jesus told his students, that demons don’t flee out of a person automatically. He then also gave them a clear mission to expel powers of the darkness, just like He Himself did all the time.
With looking for the cause of the blockings it then often appears to be such ‘remains’ out of the kingdom of the darkness to be guilty of this.
No fear, you can better be delivered late than to never be really delivered at all. It is the love of God, that brings these things into the light.
When these bindings with the darkness are being broken, the impact of the Holy Spirit appears not to be a problem anymore!
